According to the DOTC, they will assemble this prototype and check it components before they start the testing this coming November.
From last week's inspection of manufacturing 48 new light rail vehicles (LRVs) for the Metro Manila Rail Transit III (MRT-3) system in Dalian China according to the DOTC.
According to the team, the prototypes are in a good quality and reliable "what is important to us that the train cars, once delivered will be safe and reliable. So we prefer to be thorough with the manufacture assembly, checking and testing of the prototype" said Secretary Abaya of Transfortation and Communication.
Mid-August 2015: Arrival of Prototype
End-August 2015: Completion of Assembly Prototype
September-October 2015: Checking or static testing of prototype, including dimentions, materials and components such as light, doors, handrails, seats etc.
Mid-November 2015: Arrival of bogies
End-November to End December 2015: Dynamic testing and necessary adjustments.
January 2016: Acceptance/approval, start of monthly delivery
